2008-02-12 08:09:00 Cameron Diaz and Ellen Pompeo are reportedly fighting to buy the same luxury New York apartment. The two actresses are both said to be interested in the four-bedroom, four-bathroom property in Chelsea which is on the market for a cool $5.5 million USD. Sources say the two women have been to see the pricey pad in the Chelsea Club building; Charlie’s Angel Diaz has been back three times, while Grey’s Anatomy star Pompeo has just been once. The apartment, on West 19th Street, also has six terraces, with sweeping Manhattan views. A spokesman for the real estate firm selling the home had no comment today. According to the New York Post, Diaz first looked at the apartment when she was still dating Justin Timberlake. They confirmed they had split in January 2007.

Unfortunately despite having the pick of gowns, she chose this Armani Privé Fall 2007 strapless number, which on anyone else would have been great, but on Ellen, it was just too plain, too boring and not at all fitting her usual style, in others words, she played it safe.
