It should have been in Russia. It turns out that Russia was unable to comply with the AIBA organizations requirements to host the event this year. The amateur boxing organization forfeited Russia's hosting privilege at awarded it to the city of Chicago.At the tournament in recent days, Team Russia showed it's might and superiority over the rest of the amateur boxing world as it barges 8 out of 11 boxers into the boxing tournament's semi-final round.
