Como otros, Ennio no trata de disimular las influencias de músicas étnicas o de melodías populares, están ahí latentes, pero puestas al servicio del ritmo o del concepto fílmico.En este campo, es difícil superar la banda sonora de una película inolvidable, La Misión, de Robert de Niro.
