2008-05-19 17:54:00
Ross Brawn believes that the 2008 Monaco Grand Prix is going to be an eventful one. With drivers aids such as traction control gone, we could see some fantastic action and crashes.  We have seen many when they had driver aids, lord only knows what will happen now! Brawn reckons it will be exciting, especially when you ...

Based on the numerologist’s (friend of a friend) initial analysis, I should lead a very interesting life! Hmmm wait till the full report is out, we shall see. Friday was planned to head down Brunch @ Pan ...
AN ?EVENTFUL? NIGHT
2008-04-04 20:41:00
hmmmm….Fridays…..mm-mmmm….. As I am typing this, I am sleepy and hungry. Then I walked out of the room, washed up and warmed tonight’s soup. Again, after I drank the soup, I feel so sleepy.
Eventful Week-end

Watch shopping on Fri (with my lovable colleagues and crazy Antz). G.Election for Malaysia on Sat. MediaCorp Bazaar on Sat. Squeeze-o-matic at IT show (with AOD, Diana, Antz and gang). Eventful Day at the Races
2008-02-16 21:34:00
Wow - I am knackered! What a day… we had to call out 4 ambulances and an air ambulance. I was picked up at 9:45am and we somehow ended up on the M5. Which made us really late… finally getting there at 12am, just in time for the first race. We were put on our ...

It has been an eventful week for both my business and personal front. I’ve decided to get serious with toilet training my three year old and am glad that things are working out on a positive note. It took me lots of courage to take off Clayton’s diapers in the day as I dislike cleaning ...

An Eventful Year in Egypt: Religion Vs. Citizenship!
2007-12-30 04:40:00
In wrapping up the year's events and its significant developments, Al-Ahram Weekly, the English version of Egypt's semi-official newspaper, published an extensive article authored by several writers and under various titles. The main article carries the title "All's not well on the domestic front." One of the article's sections, with the heading "Much to be modest about," was written by one of Al-Ahram's most-respected editors, Mr. Gamal Nkrumah, who addresses the pressing issues of citizenship and religious freedom. He begins by stating: MUDDLED expectations, more openness on religious freedoms and the correlation between religion and civil rights were defining features of 2007. Perhaps one of the most determining characteristics of 2007 is not so much the manner in which religion generally has had an ever-increasing impact on public life. Rather, it is that the entire question of religious affiliation and the precise nature of its correlation to citizenship and civil rights h...
Democrats Dominate Social Network Sites and Loose in Overall Site Traffic
2007-12-27 07:02:00
Democrats have been more successful reining in supporters on YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, and Eventful sites than Republicans have been. Democratic candidates have more subscribers on YouTube, more event requests on Eventful, and more friends on Facebook and MySpace.Barack Obama has over 172,000 Facebook supporters, while Ron Paul, who leads all Republicans, has just over 44,700 supporters. Clinton has only 56,000 supporters and Romney has only 22,000 supporters to come in second for their respective parties. While Democratic candidates may have more subscribers on YouTube.com, Ron Paul is certainly leading in the amount of daily viewers. According to TubeMogul, RonPaul.com YouTube videos receive cumulative views of over 8.6 million per day. Barack Obama leads Democrats with over 6.4 million viewers each day. Mike Huckabee is the next closest Republican and he gets just over 3.8 million views a day and Mitt Romney is close behind him with 3.2 million. John Edwards was the seco...

eventful Sunday
2007-11-18 16:48:00
Today is going to be quite eventful. First of all, I should have been in the shower a long time ago so we could make it to church, but I just woke up. We'll never make it now. I'm so bad. Anyway.. we have to be at my parents around 1pm for a birthday celebration for my aunt. Then we're coming home, putting Gabby down for a nap and I am going grocery shopping while my husband is here with the baby - most likely playing Final Fantasy XI online while she naps. Then, at around 4pm, we are going with my parents out to Brighton (which is about an hour away) to a memorial for my cousin who died last week. It's going to be quite a busy day today.
Samvat 2,063 had been an eventful year
2007-11-09 16:41:00
*Samvat 2,063 had been an eventful year. Sensex galloped by a whopping 6,322 points*. Though this is the biggest point move in a single year, it’s not the highest in terms of percentage gains. The highest percentage gains record belongs to Samvat 2055 (1998-99), when the Sensex rallied 61% from 2,853 to 4,598. *In Samvat ...
The Eventful Journey
2007-11-05 06:11:00
Today I went to get my own debit card, finally! So I went to the town and hop off the at the Pekan Rabu. Then, I decided to walk after drawing some cash from BCB account. PB is located near Kanchut, at the edge of town centre, so I have to walk a few km to get there. On my way, my shoe laces snapped! Nice timing! I was in a hurry and I'm on a tight budget! After a few seconds of panic, I spotted an old woman walking towards me. Being selfish, I stopped her and asked her to help me (more like force actually) She agreed to lend me her shoes and waited while I buy a new one. So, wearing her shoes, I walked back to the town centre and trying to locate a shop that open early in the morning. Really, I was lucky to borrow the lady's shoes but her shoes has edges and my feet got blisters (complaining) Luckily, there is one and I managed to find one with a decent price. Not just that, I realised that there's a PB in the town centre as well! Why did I walk all the way and ruin my shoes then...

2007-10-04 21:29:00
Hi All, Today was the most uninteresting and uneventful trading day that I’ve had so far! I got home at 6.30pm GMT as usual and watched until now (8.30pm GMT).. nothing happening and I’m going to call it a day! There maybe a final sell off or rally but I wouldn’t feel comfortable trading it now!

What an eventful start…
2007-07-31 01:17:00
What an eventful start… An hour back i was trying to get a handle on blogging… I heard a weird noise by the window..Usually I am up during the wee hours.  Usually I attribute any weird sound to the cats and dogs in the neighbourhood. But this one was unlike the others. It was a rattling sound at the window. As brave as I am, I switched on the lights in that room and peeked thru the window to be startled by a black, waif like figure on the other side of the window. I always thought I would be very intelligent in situations of this kind. But even to my surprise I called out for my mom in some weird throaty sound (I have never heard it before.). The moment that sound came out of my throat, I could hear running feet. He was a lucky robber unlucky in his attempt. But I should say he was a damn brave one too…With me (if at all i am to be feared to any extent) wide awake in the adjacent room. I learned a thing or two from the experience: Listen to mom (which I learn...

An uneventful ride home
2007-07-17 15:02:00
I must have done something right yesterday. My bike commute going home was as uneventful as it could be. I arrived home a little later than usual, the reason being the same as why it took me 45 minutes of pedaling to arrive at work. The ride home is actually a little harder ...
Yanks take eventful series opener from Sox
2007-06-02 05:26:00
The New York Yankees are trying to break another one of baseball’s unwritten rules, the one that says a double-digit deficit on Memorial Day is insurmountable. One game after Alex Rodriguez offended some baseball purists by distracting a fielder during a popup, the Yankees built on that victory by beating the Red Sox 9-5 on Friday ...
An Eventful Interview with CEO of SEraja
2007-05-24 16:48:00
“Everything has its origin in Events” claims Arun Katiyar, CEO of SEraja. Seraja is an online portal that resorts to some innovative yet simple ways to keep the world updated on the events. The name by itself may not give out exactly what the company does, but Mr Katiyar explains “Its an Indian sounding name, there is no particular thought behind the name.” The rational behind the Seraja was thought of by its Chairman Mr Ramesh Jain, who is a Professor in Information & Computer Sciences, Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences, University of California, Irvine. Mr Katiyar lucidly explains the thought process behind Seraja, “documentation is an abstraction of things, and not the complete thing. Everything is interrelated to events. SEraja forms a platform to make the documentation of events more real by letting users upload not only pictures but also videos.”SEraja has also embraced, mobile technology to bring about live capturing of ev...

Eventful game, familiar result for Yanks
2007-04-25 08:05:00
Alex Rodriguez’s 23-game hitting streak is over. The New York Yankees can’t say the same about a slide that’s dropped them into last place. Tampa Bay pitching cooled off A-Rod, and Carl Crawford hit his first career grand slam rallied the Devil Rays over Chien-Ming Wang and the Yankees 6-4 Tuesday night, extending the Yankees’ losing ...

2007-04-20 08:04:00
Managua, April 20: Former guerrilla leader Daniel Ortega Friday celebrates his first 100 days as Nicaraguan head of state, a period he has spent consolidating his own power and that of his influential wife Rosario Murillo but has not done much to honour promises to end the problems of his impoverished country.
An Uneventful Weekend - On Purpose
2007-03-26 16:00:00
I did absolutely nothing this weekend and I enjoyed myself completely.  In fact, I make a point of taking one weekend in four off to put my feet up and snooze, read or just zone out.  Most weekends I insist on one day off.   It's easy when you are building a business to justify a ...
This Week = Uneventful
2007-02-13 03:22:01
Well uneventful other then being sick lets hope I can finally put that to rest behind me. So that about sums up my week. I did absolutely nothing, zero, zip, notta! About all I did this week was post a couple of pictures to flickr. I updated the other blogs as well about some different things. So with that, the weekend awaits and it appears to be as uneventful as the rest of the week has been. I'll try to find something interesting to post about by the end of the weekend...until then.
It’s been an eventful few days around here. First thin
2007-01-14 02:13:01
It’s been an eventful few days around here. First thing you should know is that I’m multitasking. I’m vacuuming while I type. Ok, the ROBOT is vacuuming while I type, but the floor is being vacuumed while I type. The problem is that I keep having to yell at the kids to stay away from the robot. They’re just fascinated and won’t leave the damn thing alone. Steve is all into it because being the nerd that he is, he found out that he can write software to make it do stuff. When I asked “Like what?” In his most geeky manner he says “ANYTHING!” Yeah, that explains it, Steve. Glad you didn’t get all technical on me. Program it to pick up the crap you and the kids leave all over the house and I might be able to get as excited about this as you. Or teach it to take out the flippin’ trash. Or feed the crazy dog. Otherwise, I can’t get excited about playing Tertris on the vacuum, dear. You can now call me Sacagawea. Som...
Who knew a trip to the movies could be so eventful
2006-12-27 16:36:02
Go ahead. Ask me how Night at the Museum was. I wouldn’t know. We didn’t get to see it. We went to the movies, but it was a trip from hell. We had problems right from the start. The parking lot was packed. And we got stuck behind some blue pickup truck who apparently was caught up in the glory of a full parking lot which left them unable to move. They just sat there not moving. Um, ok. So we turned down a lane to get by them and found a spot right away. Ok, so not too bad. Yet. My mom got the tickets before we got there. Only Night at the Museum was sold out. So instead we got tickets to Charlotte’s Web. We were fine with this. We wanted to see Charlotte’s Web too. We’ll just go back to see Night at the Museum later. No problem. Once we entered the lobby I got a little scared. I hate big crowds and it appeared as if every single person in town came to a movie today. That’s about 100,000 people. Ok, so that might be a small exaggeration, but we wer...
Uneventful
2006-03-02 16:55:00
Today (and yesterday, and pretty much this whole week) have been really uneventful. Amused myself today by doing load after load of laundry and gazing out the window pretending it was nice and warm, like it was actually spring. But still freezing cold outside, and inside really. I've been looking at potential houses, which has been fun.. I hate moving and hate trawling through property lists, but once we've moved in, I love rearranging furniture and putting pictures up .. and just all that make things home-y. I can't bear houses that don't look lived in, I need a bit of clutter and mess around me, it's comforting :)
