Although he was not polite in his comment, comparing me to a bodily odor in fact, I feel the need to respond: My primary reason for posting independent artists exclusively is that the major labels don't play nice in the internet playground. They have made it clear that they do not want the help of bloggers unless the bloggers do exactly what the labels say. My second reason is that the vast, vast majority of bands on major labels sound the same. There have been a few exceptions this year, most notably Nas and My Morning Jacket, but those exceptions only prove the rule (especially given the problems Nas had releasing his "untitled" album with a title consistent with his artistic vision). But he is not too much into it because he said he went to an eye specialist a few years back and something in his retina is not fit for such surgery. So I told him, "Hey, there are lots of new technologies nowadays that you might already qualify". But then there's always an excuse not to go get it done.I mean lasik is expenisve and is a major surgery that needs serious consideration before making a decision. 2008-05-15 16:00:00 So this morning I'm reading some justifications for why Willie used Heilman and sorry I'm not buying it. Don't get me wrong I fully understand why Matt Wise and Scott Schnoeneweis were unavailable. Schoeneweis had spent the day in the hospital with what turned out to be flu like symptoms and Wise just returning from the DL can't immediately be used on back to back days. But that still leaves Willie with three solid options in Smith, Feliciano and Sanchez. If any of these three relievers were brought in and failed to get the job done, then Willie wouldn't be getting second guessed so much today, it would be the teams offense.With that said, there's no way he should have been left in as long as he was, the minute Heilman exits the pen his back-up plan should be warming up. 2008-05-13 22:32:00 My tenants said they will leave before their lease ends (June 1st) but they will pay the rent for month of May since they signed the lease. They are still late with part of April's rent, they have not returned house keys to me yet, and of course they have not paid the month of May. Excuse of the day - I am busy but I will stop by this evening!!!! This has been an excuse for 2 weeks now. I have sent a 3 day notice to pay or quit. They received it and still did not come over to pay but threathened me with getting a lawyer because they think I am evicting them. I said I do not want to go to court with them, that is why I gave them a notice that they are late and there is a late fee. We ironed that part out and now they are saying they still want to come over and pay what they own and clean out the house so they can get the deposit back. But.....nothing is happening. Since those 3 days are up, and lease is pretty much terminated, what do I do?

I just wanted to share with you all what I have done.....I print out the pages of excuses, make copies, and give them to new tenants at lease signing. I explain that I do this because as landlords some of us have heard some whopper excuses, and also tell them that it explains why some of the addendums in the lease may sound rediculous. Funny thing is, since I started this practice, I have NEVER received a late rent payment, except for one time a tenant had been involved in an accident at work and had to wait for worker's comp benefits to kick in, but since the accident made the paper, we let him slide, and got the rent the minute he got his first check.For anyone wanting to know if this site is worth belonging to, the answer is MOST DEFINATELY!!!!

The four wound up behind bars. Reports say deputies responded to a report of damage to a gate to a communications tower on privately owned land at Massey Street and Vanderbilt Beach Road around 10:15 p.m. When deputies arrived, a white Ford F150 pickup and a black Dodge truck attempted to flee the property. 2008-04-08 12:03:00 Booho!! I got my tooth extracted today and I am in great pain. I just arrived from the dentist and it still hurts. Am still tired from the blog make-over and haven't recovered from my sleep just yet. I was also able to sleep around 6:00am in the morning today because I was manually checking Project Exlinks. And now....huhuhuhu....I really needed to rest. I will try to be back tonight and check on your messages and love notes. Please do leave more if you want. I love you all!!
