2007-09-24 02:27:00 Hi ATOMIC fans. Been getting a few e-mails lately asking why I don't post new entries as often as other bloggers do. Truth is I play guitar a whole lot, so I only post around once per week. So what have I been up to? I've put up some mp3s here with experimental music I've been recording lately. I don't consider these actual songs, but rather guitar ideas that are being developed. 1) Experimental Music One This recording doesn't have much structure. It builds up to an outro, getting heavier and heavier sounding. There are 5 or 6 guitars playing at once at some points. This I recorded a few months ago, and I've already forgotten how to play some of it. I believe it's in the key of Dm however. Pretty experimental. Almost hypnotic. 2) Experimental Music Two This experimental track could pass for Pop (maybe). I wanted to see what kind of musical ideas I could come up with in the solos.
