2008-04-28 13:16:00 Well, we have returned from the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors in Los Angeles. This was our second year exhibiting at the show and the first year it was held at the LA Convention center. I’m having some mixed reviews about the whole experience. Luckily the positives outweigh the negatives, but the negatives were huge and psychologically damaging. Let’s start with the negatives… Everything was looking cool heading up to the convention, we put in our order for a table early, picked a cool spot, and we thought everythign was cool. Four days before the show we get an email from Creation Entertainment, who run organize the show, that they had previously been mistaken on the type of seller permit we needed for the show - and that we had to get a new type of permit or we couldn’t sell anything. 2007-08-20 21:47:00 Poco a poco voy recuperando fuerzas tras este fin de semana de música ininterrumpida. Y es que el Sonorama 2007 ha dado musicalmente mucho de sí. Del viernes lo más destacable fue en mi opinion The Sunday Drivers, muy esperados y alcanzando el nivel. Fangoria, nuevo single con Mago de Oz
2007-07-07 05:11:00 El próximo 17 de julio se pondrá a la venta el nuevo single de Fangoria. El tema elegido en esta ocasión es El cementerio de mis sueños, personalmente la canción que más me gusta de su último trabajo “El extraño Viaje”, por ser la que más recuerda a su etapa con los Pegamoides y con Dinarama. Si bien es verdad que este último álbum no está a la altura de los dos anteriores, ni parece estar teniendo el éxito que de él se esperaba. Además de este tema, y una remezcla del mismo realizada por el canadiense Sebástian Komor, en el single se incluirá un curioso dueto con el grupo Mago de Oz versioneando el ya clásico El rey del glam, que puedes oÃr aquÃ. Alaska siempre ha sido muy dada a los duetos imposibles: Camilo Sesto, Marta Sánchez, Raphael, Camela… pero esta vez creo que ha ido demasiado lejos. No sé, no me acaba de convencer lo de Mago de Oz.
