Positive is a 12-minute short film about a family affected by HIV AIDS. Positive is one of the four short films made for the Bill Gates Foundation with a view of generating HIV AIDS awarenessTalking about the film, Farhan says, “The film was entirely shot in Mumbai and stars Boman Irani, Shabana Azmi and a debutant actor, Arjun Mathur. Just as a social stigma, many people believe that an HIV patient should be isolated. They also have certain misconceptions about dealing with the disease. Tentatively titled Voice From The Sky, it is set at the turn of the last century … around 1905. I’ve spoken to Irrfan Khan. He’s an actor I’ve admired for a long time, and not just after ‘The Namesake’ and ‘Metro’.
