2007-09-18 18:03:00 Calling her client's claims "explosive and bombshell accusations," attorney GLORIA ALLRED is opening up to "The Insider" about the decision in court yesterday to not allow BRITNEY SPEARS's ex-bodyguard TONY BARRETTO to testify. "Had he been called to testify from the witness stand, and be examined under oath, he would have testified to her [Britney] being under the influence while in the presence of her children and to safety issues involving the children." While Barretto did appear in court Monday, he was not given the opportunity to support a sealed declaration about questionable behavior by the embattled pop star, and that, according to Allred, actually makes her client all the more credible. 2007-09-17 23:30:00 Brit's former bodyguard - whom we ID'd as Tony Barretto (Fat Tony) - made some pretty severe statements in the Brit/K-Fed custody war today. Attorney Gloria Allred released the following information in a statement: "Tony was employed by Spears from the time she left rehab until May 17, 2007. He was in her home on a full-time basis, drove her to appointments, and observed her behavior inside of her home, outside of her home, and around her children. During that time, he became very concerned about the children and their safety. Though he was reluctant to come forward and become embroiled in her cutody dispute, he did so because of his concern about the safetly and well-being of the children.
