Police say the driver was taken to hospital in critical condition Friday night after a male he was driving beat him about the head for unknown reasons. They say a man is in custody facing assault-related charges. Moe Chebli of Capital Taxi says he's stopped driving a cab because it's too dangerous. Chebli says safety shields and video cameras need to be put into cabs, despite the significant price.
