2008-02-27 13:46:00 At about 1am this morning an earthquake measuring 5.2. on the Richter scale hit the UK, with its epicentre at 8km east of Market Rasen, Lincolnshire. At that time I was laying on my bed and reading various blogs. I felt my bed shake very slightly, but thought I was imagining it. Then it happened again, and I looked around the room in alarm. It stopped, so I just went back to what I was doing. I just saw the news reports about the quake. I’ve never experienced an earthquake before, and this is one of the last places that you’d expect to feel tremors, though the UK has had the odd tornado from time to time. Freaky, eh? The movie may not be as good as I thought it was when I was ten, and maybe it’s the nostalgia talking, but I don’t know… I think they’re still good enough for me.
