The first quarter where the Bulls offense was absolutely atrocious, and the 3rd quarter where the Bulls took a huge chunk of Milwaukee's lead away from them. All in all, this game was an excellent representation about my fears with the Bulls. The offense is just going to be rough while the defense can be excellent. From the end of the 1st quarter through the 3/4ths of the way through the fourth quarter the Bulls defense was absolutely dominant not allowing anything and contesting everything. My new favorite movie at the 2009 Chicago Film Fest
2009-10-09 19:54:00 It's great to see a film that you want to go out and recommend to everyone, immediately, and it doesn't happen often. But that's how I feel after a press screening this morning, so that's what I'm doing about "Mary and Max," the magnificent stop-motion animated story of friendship that is incredibly funny and smart and also agonizingly sad. The voice work, particularly by Philip Seymour Hoffman as lonely, middle-aged New Yorker Max, is incredible, and Adam Elliot's script is just splendid. See it at the Chicago International Film Festival 6:15 p.m. Oct. 18 and 6 p.m. Oct. 20 ($9-$12) at AMC River East....

Yep, that's right, this years Pride Fest will start on Friday afternoon at 3PM and will run through Saturday night at 10PM. I've been going to the Pride Fest since it started and every year it gets better, bigger and wiser (well at least I hope it does). 2009-04-22 15:35:00 The first thing you need to know about CAPRICA is that by design, it is absolutely nothing like BATTLESTAR GALACTICA. “Our challenge with CAPRICA is to try and break the mold of BATTLESTAR,” explained co-creator Ronald D. Moore at Monday’s Paley Festival event honoring both BSG and CAPRICA. “As much as we love BATTLESTAR, we now have to destroy it. The CAPRICA narrative will be nothing like BATTLESTAR’s narrative, the style is going to be different and the characters are going to be different.
