Color Correct Quickly In Final Cut Pro

Not sure if other people are using it or if it’s a “Come on….everyone knows this…” but I just figured it out (yesterday) and I love it. If you are color correcting your footage in Final Cut Pro on your timeline, say you have 30 clips in a row and want to move through all of them quickly, do the following: Change your sync to “open” in the canvas or viewer. Move to your first clip in the timeline (anywhere in the clip). Apply your 3-way color corrector to the first clip and open the filter (visual color corrector) tab in the viewer. Make your adjustments. Now click on the “1->” or “2->” to place that color corrector to the next clip (1-> or to skip one clip and place it on the following one (2->.
