I tried to capture it but my camera's lens is on the low end so this was the best I was able to do: The ring around the moon is still pretty easy to see, itis caused by ice crystals in the upper atmosphere BTW So it started to slowly snow this afternoon...It started falling a little faster.... Then it really came down for a while...But alas since the ground was not all that cold even though we had a pretty good amount of snow falling, the amount we ended up with on the ground was slightly more than an inch....Ah well not much you can do with an inch of snow it is almost worse than not getting any at all.

Here’s what you need: A wide-mouthed jar Blue or white pipe cleaners String Scissors Pencil Boiling water Spoon Borax (any brand will do, but not the product called Boraxo—it won’t work!) Blue food coloring (optional) Now here’s what you do: First, make a snowflake frame from the pipe cleaners. You can use three long pipe cleaners as the base, and the cut a couple pipe cleaners in half and wrap them around the base on all sides so that the entire snowflake is connected. You want it to be big, but remember it has to fit inside the jar! Now, tie a piece of string around one of the pipe cleaners in the center and tie the other end of the string to a pencil. Die Zutaten: 125 Gramm Rosinen 120 Gramm Margarine 100 Gramm Cornflakes (ohne Zucker!) 150 Gramm Mehl 1 Ei 80 Gramm Zucker 1 Teelöffel Backpulver Die Zubereitung : Den Zucker mit der Margarine gemeinsam schön schaumig rühren, das Ei mit rein und jetzt das Backpulver + Mehl unterrühren. Anschließend die Cornflakes und Rosinen mit in die Masse. Zum Backen auf einem ausgelegten Backblech ca 5 Gramm schwere Häufchen formen und für knappe 10 Minuten bei 180 Grad backen.
