Larry Sinclair Arrested After Sham NPC Press Conference Today

Larry Sinclair, the Obama smear-monger who admitted to this blogger his Texas parking tickets and other clues that lead to his Texas and not Minnesota dwelling, was arrested after what details reveal to be a "stupefiying" press conference held at The National Press Club today. According to Ben Smith at Politico, Sinclair has a 27-year criminal record of "crimes of deceit" and is wanted in Colorado on charges that were not made clear to Smith. Sinclair gave what blogger David Weigel reported a press conference that was a set of "amused bunch of people taking in a circus act." He also reported the antics of Sinclair's lawyer Montgomery Sibley: It got worse when Sinclair's lawyer Montgomery Sibley?whose license is currently suspended in D.C. and Florida?showed up in a kilt and told reporters that his above-average endowment made slacks tight and uncomfortable.Ok. Ok. Afterward, Sinclair was immediately arrested by Washinton police on the Colorado charges. Talk about glass houses.

So, even though Tampa has fallen back to second place behind Boston in the AL East, I'd still like to take a look at their offense and their staff to try to see why they've had such success and whether it will be sustainable over this year and the next few. The first guy I want to talk about is Carl Crawford. I have to say, I think he's been one of the most overrated fantasy players over the past few years. There is no denying that he will have a high average, score runs, and steal bases. Of course, historically, he has been unable to be an elite run producer because there's been nobody to drive him in. But I have always felt that his lack of power means he doesn't belong in the first or second round, where he has consistently been drafted. That being said, I believe his numbers so far are too low, and he is a great guy to target in your mid-season trades. His BABIP is under .300 (after a .375 mark last season!), which is way too low for a guy with his speed. He's walking mor...

PLANTATION, FL -- A Broward County mother is suing Florida's child welfare agency over her son's death. The medical examiner determined last year that 7-year-old Dean McGregor died from blunt force head injuries. His death was ruled a homicide. The boy's mother, Kareen Dryden, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit. It claims the Department of Children & Families and its contracted provider, ChildNet, failed to investigate allegations of child abuse in the boy's father home. Dryden's lawyer said Wednesday that his client was concerned she wasn't getting answers regarding what happened to Dean. The lawyer for the boy's father did not return messages for comment. A message was left with DCF. A ChildNet spokeswoman declined to comment.

The Democratic Rules Committee has just voted to allow Florida and Michigan to get all their delegates back. However, they will only get 1/2 vote each, basically cutting the power of each state in half. Florida's delegates will reflect they way the primary in Florida turned out. However Michigan will take delegates away from Clinton, and give them to Obama, who was not even on the ballet in that state. During the votes, the Florida decision passed 27-0 and everyone for the most part seemed pleased. The Michigan decision passed by 19 to 8 and was a very heated debate. Clinton however still gets more delegates out of both states with a net gain of about 15-28 delegates. This will do very little to move her forward, but don't expect her to give up. The biggest piece of news to come out of this meeting came from a Clinton Staffer who says that she reserves the right to take this to the floor of the convention.
