Earlier tonight I posted on the signing of Josh Phelps and how weak our depth is at firstbase. A reader asked about Brett Harper, well he just signed a minor league contract with an invite to spring training with the SF Giants....Giants invited RHP Victor Santos, RHP Keiichi Yabu, RHP Bartolome Fortunato, C Steve Holm, C Pablo Sandoval, C Jackson Williams, INF Brian Bocock, INF Emmanuel Burriss, 1B Brett Harper, 3B Justin Leone, 1B Scott McClain, INF Ivan Ochoa, OF Ben Copeland, OF Brian Horwitz and OF Mike McBryde to spring training.Santos is the best bet of the group to break camp with the Giants, but there isn't much upside there. Leone is probably the organization's best option at third base at the moment, but it's been four years since his last opportunity. Harper, a former Mets prospect, would be a deep sleeper at first if the Giants fail to upgrade. source Rotoworld

I mentioned in a post titled "The other player in the Kazmir trade" that Bartolome Fortunato was pitching very well in winter league ball. Fortunato pitched was solid out of the pen in 2004 but went down with an injury and lost all of 2005, he made one very unsuccessful return appearance in 2006, after which he was released. Now on the comeback trail he has been invited to spring training by the SF Giants......Fortunato received a spring training invite from the Giants on Friday. source Rotowire

N93, riprova sarai più fortunato.

Ho provato per una settimana l’N93, l’ultimo gioiellino Nokia. Il mio approccio è stato fedele con la linea con cui Nokia presenta il prodotto: una Videocamera tascabile che produce filmati in qualità “near DVD” e che, quasi casualmente, ha dentro anche un telefono. Quindi l’N93 non è un telefono gigante, ma una videocamera in miniatura. Ok, per oltre 700 euro andiamo a vedere cosa ci “regala” Nokia: PRO Schermo brillante ed orientabile WiFi, fantastico da avere e da usare (abbiamo provato la soluzione ORB, dedicheremo un post alla prova) Ottima qualità di ripresa all’esterno, con la luce solare. Utilizzo orizzontale per i giochi, veramente molto comodo. Si attacca alla TV, direttamente con un cavetto, per vedere foto e video.
