2007-08-01 09:21:00 The first set of DLC for Forza 2 is due today - Forza Motorsport 2 - Nissan Brings 2007 Cars to Forza basically it’s 3 Nissan cars for free (2007 Sentra SE-R, Altima and 350Z) and a Peugeot 908 race car that’ll cost you 50 MS points. The Peugeot was raced at Le Mans this year - took pole I believe. The other difference with the Peugeot is that it will be paintable making it the only paintable race car in Forza 2. Turn 10 also mention that this is the first batch of DLC and that DLC will continue through the fall (thats autumn for us english folk).

The car damage is realistic as well. The car physics vary among the vehicles, giving a Ford Mustang a very different feel to a high-performance McLaren. Good skill progression allows you to ease into things in an engaging way and the online multiplayer element is very impressive, extending the game well beyond the artificial intelligence of human versus computer racing. Cons: Although there are 12 well-designed tracks, more variety is in order. The musical soundtrack also beings to wear thin. Verdict: Forza racing comes to the Xbox 360 and sets a new benchmark for racing simulators. There are improvements across the board but not at the expense of game play. The developers have managed to keep casual gamers as well as hardcore fans happy.

I will say that I was a little shocked at the outcome, not who won mind you, but the way the entire thing went down.In all of the events including the Atlanta Dragway At Commerce's Quarter Mile, Road Atlanta's Autocross for Drifting , Two Road Courses and Lanier Speedway's Oval Track, it was the final event on the road course that everything fell apart.
