She displays both a foxtrot and running walk, and simply adores attention from people. Annie has been handled since birth with much affection and kindness, but has not been made a spoiled pet. She is trained to lead, tie, crosstie, stand for farrier, and to walk on a hot walker. She is comfortable with being handled and touched all over. No bite or kick in her nature. Price subject to increase with training and time. Her low price is not due to lack of quality, but rather to an over abundance of horses combined with a shortage of hay. 2007-09-10 14:36:00 Preacher is a great trail horse with a super smooth gait. He is a super cool, although not really a beginner horse, he is not a hot head. He does not race down the trails nor does he care if he is first or last. He doesn't speed up coming home either. He has been used on trails and to gather cattle when he was 2 and 3. The owner, unfortunately hurt his back, and hadn't ridden him for 2 1/2 years. I have been riding him for the past few months and he is doing great. He still needs some more desensitizing on the ground but he is great while riding him. He foxtrots automatically and consistently with several different speeds. He also short lopes well. He has a wonderful stop too! He rides in a plain snaffle or tom thumb and is pretty light in the bridle. He is cross creeks and logs and walk anywhere you point him on the trail. He will also swim if need be!! He is very attentive and takes care of his rider. He clips, loads and bathes good and is easy with his feet. He is curren...
