Last night he and the E-Street Band played a fund raiser at and for the Count Basie Theater in New Jersey and the lucky few who made it got to hear an all-70's show, including complete playings, in order, of both the Born to Run and Darkness on the Edge of Town albums. They even got the Max Weinberg 7 horn section on a few songs in addition to the regular E-Street Band horns. Neil Diamond's "surprise" show at the Bitter End in New York last night was an obvious sellout with speakers being put in the windows so the unlucky fans could hear the show.
