Franklin has certainly laid out his qualifications this season, and he came through in his first opportunity, notching the save in the Cardinals' 5-3 victory on Saturday. "It's the same thing -- you've just got to get three outs," Franklin said. "It doesn't affect what I do to get three outs. [Isringhausen] is the closer. With him gone, hopefully we can handle the ninth inning until he gets back." After a whirlwind of four teams in three years, Franklin has settled into one of the more dependable setup men in the league. He posted a 3.04 ERA last year with 25 holds, and his good run has continued in 2008 despite a shaky Spring Training.

Soaries, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens, submitted an application with the state Department of Education last week to open a middle and high school in Franklin Township called the Central Jersey SOAR Academy Charter School. Cut half of the bulk glyercin soap into small pieces, place in measuring cup. Microwave on medium for 15 seconds; stir dissolve chunks. Repeat every 5 seconds unil completely melted. Do not overheat or boil soap or soap will bubble and become cloudy.(2) Add scent and coloring. Divide melted soap between two paper coffee cups. To each, add 1 drop of coloring and add 1/2 teaspoon of fragrance and stir.
