Donderdag vliegt ze naar datzelfde Amerika voor haar laatste Wereldkampioenschap DogFrisbee: Karen Mulders uit Beerzerveld. Sinds ze haar eerste wedstrijd hondenfrisbee zag, was ze verkocht en is ze er zelf mee begonnen. Ze is nu zo goed dat ze de enige Nederlandse is die aan het WK mag meedoen. The game was invented by some kids on some college campus which I thought was pretty cool. For you readers that did not play this game in a high school PE this is basically how the game is played. The game is played on a football field, and the endzones are 25 yards long and 40 yards wide, which will then leave you with a 40 by 70 yards of playing field. Each team is only allowed 7 players on the field at a time; the game is started with one team throwing the Frisbee to the other, like a kick off in football.The team that receives the Frisbee will then be the offensive side, and the other team will be the defensive side. The offensive team’s objective is to have one of their team members in the endzone of the other teams with the Frisbee. Sounds easy but you cannot run with the Frisbee, you have to pass the Frisbee around to open teammates. And if you pass is sh...

2006-12-02 16:09:15 Just some stuff about me. My birthday is coming up, and Tina bought me three seasons of Gilmore Girls on DVD. Yes, I'm secure enough in my manhood to admit that I am crazy about Gilmore Girls. I love Lorelai and Rory's relationship, and the other characters are great too. The dialog is so fast and witty, and the humor is great. So now instead of just having every season of Friends we will also have every season of this. We may eventually get Lost and Battlestar Galactica (our two favorite shows to watch as they air), but I'm not sure that those are shows that I'd be able to enjoy over and over again. I love playing Ultimate Frisbee. A group of friends and I play every Saturday for several hours, and I'm always sore for days afterward.
