Of course, last year’s laptops are old news now, and so the company has updated the range with an Intel Core 2 Duo SL7100 processor running at 1.2GHz. It still has a 12.1-inch LCD display, but Fujitsu have switched to LED backlighting for better clarity and improved battery life.There are also seven new, swappable covers available, one of which features a small puppy. I’m not sure why you’d want a puppy on your laptop, but then perhaps that just means I’m not the target audience. Ok this one is unique, an iMac styled PC that actually has a few features to put the old iMac to disgrace... interesting. Fujitsu's new FMV F-A50 definitly takes some design tips from the old white iMac design which I have no complaints about cause it looks sexy. However I can't quite tell if it's the studio indoor lighting or if it really is just that sexy but from the images of the F-A50 it actually looks a touch sexier than the old iMac's surprisingly. The new F-A50 runs windows not Mac but you'd have to look twice if it wasn't on with the desktop showing to really tell. But this isn't a direct copy oh no, this is a younger slightly sexier cousin to the iMac. Their are things the same such as the color, and slot loading DVD Drive which is great. It's a mid-sized desktop replacement model with a 15.4-inch WXGA screen, weighs in at a fairly svelte 2.5kg and offers the latest in wireless connectivity. It certainly seems to be designed for the professional market. A gunmetal silver finish on the outside and black interior aren't particularly inspiring from an aesthetics point of view, and at first glance the designers seem to have taken a minimalist approach to the control set. At first glance, Fujitsu-Siemen's Amilo Xi2528 looks like any other desktop replacement; in fact it looks more suited to the corporate environment than the home, with its sober dark grey and silver finish. But under the skin there are some surprises - no, make that real surprises - that make it an ideal system for the home. First of all, the Xi2528 comes with two hard drives, in this case two Western Digital WD160BEVS, 160GB, 5,400rpm hard drives. They aren't the fastest drives in the world, but they are stable and reliable. Fujitsu already launch their new UMPC which is called Fujitsu FMV-U8240 on the market with only 580 gram weight. The processor is not base from Centrion or Celeron but an Intel A110 which I never hear about it. With RAM used form 512MB until 1GB available and it’s much better if you use Windows XP and not Vista edition. The disk storage varies from 20 GB until 40 GB.
