N.E.R.D. - Seeing Sounds (2008)Link 2Pharrell, Chad and Shay are back with their latest album, Seeing Sounds. I'm not so sure if I actually SAW the sounds they produced for this album, but I will say that they put together a pretty stellar album that is a slight step up from their last album, "Fly Or Die."All track info is in the comment section...

Casiopea - Signal [2006]Casiopea is a Japanese jazz fusion band that was formed in 1976 by guitarist Issei Noro and bassist Tetsuo Sakurai. In 1977, keyboardist Minoru Mukaiya and drummer Takashi Sasaki joined the group. The group debuted with the album Casiopea in 1979, and 30 albums or more have since been released. In 1980, the drummer seat is replaced by Akira Jimbo. The album Eyes of the Mind was released in the United States in 1981. They then released the album Mint Jams in 1982, followed by Four by Four in the same year, which is a collaborative album with some of Fourplay members including Lee Ritenour, Harvey Mason, Nathan East and Don Grusin. Their first foreign concert was held in the United Kingdom in 1983. The group has toured Europe, South America, Australia, and Southeast Asia. In 1989, Akira Jimbo and Tetsuo Sakurai left the band following several years of musical differences. They named their own band, Jimsaku. For the replacement, the group chose Yoshihiro Naruse ...

Tetsuo Sakurai - Gate of the 21st Century [2003]Although he was heavily influences by jazz artists such as Chick Corea, The Weather Report, and Herbie Hancock; Tetsuo Sakurai does not call himself a jazz musician. In fact, he refuses to do so. What you will experience from listening to this album is a lot of jazz fused with rock and funk at times. Certainly ideal HEAT for those of us who need a break from the smooth jazz flow and need for things to get a little crazy...Tetsuo Sakurai - Gentle Hearts[Import][2001] Link 2Ex-Casiopea bassist presents his power trio album with Dennis Chambers (Graffiti) and Greg Howe.Tetsuo Sakurai was the bass player in the japanese fusion band Casiopea and he has a lot of experience. The band recorded I think more than 20 albums. All track info is in the comment section...

Mother's Finest -Mother's Finest [1976]This is a superb CD by a band that made the crossover rock scene long before In Living Colour. This is a true must have if you are a collector and wish to maintain a traceable path from the past to what is now contemprary funk-rock bands.Collectors, must have this one..Mother's Finest - Live [1979]Mother's Finest continues to this day to funk our world. This 1979 live funk rocker was lights-out-dead on. It almost gives you a feel for seeing the band live! Joyce, Moses, Glenn, BB, and Wizzard all here for you to hear. These guys/lady are not a copy band...NO! They do take a few covers and make them their "own". From the roaring intro of "Somebody to Love" to "Don't Wanna Come Back", this is it. If as one reviewer states, Mother's Finest "is not famous", it is not their fault. Like everything else in the radio landscape of 1979-1980, there wasn't a real place for them on the radio. A hard core legion of fans found the band anyway!Mother's...
