O +2 funciona da seguinte maneira: o trio permuta um dos seus membros a frente do projeto na produçăo de cada disco. Assim tivemos Moreno +2 lançando o melhor dos tręs trabalhos, Máquina de Escrever Música, em 2001 e Domenico +2 produzindo a besteira experimental Sincerely Hot dois anos depois. A trilogia chega ao fim com esse Futurismo, com o produtor Alexandre Kassin ŕ frente, conceituando o álbum de maneira a computar os erros e pastiches dos discos anteriores.Kassin já produziu trabalhos de Vanessa da Mata, Jorge Mautner, Adriana Calcanhoto e Los Hermanos, e os tręs últimos participam do disco, provavelmente com o intuito de compensar a constrangedora voz do carioca.
