Somewhere in it’s evolution between Ice T and NWA there was a dramatic shift towards violence and sex. These tunes are draped in a catchy beat and hook then fed to the public. Prior to giving my life to Christ, I loved to listen to hardcore rap music. There are some very skilled producers out there that can make this stuff pleasing to ear of most people. The beat can make you look past the venomous lyrics that are being spitted out.
