The only thing that comes even close is when they decided to give Dwayne Wade a few games in the NBA finals a few years ago. LeBron James had more free throw attempts than the entire Celtic team. Which would have been OK, if the Celtics weren?t taking the ball to the hoop. But they WERE. Paul Pierce couldn?t buy a call. Taking the ball to the hoop and drawing contact did nothing to help him. Danny Ainge is criticized a lot, but now everyone will have to cut him some slack for bringing Ray Allen, KG and Paul Pierce together. The one thing missing from this lineup is a true point guard. I think they are fantastic at every other position, but the point guard slot needs to be filled by a guard who is a great facilitator.The Timberwolves have a good start to rebuilding their roster through this trade. They have some nice young talent, but won't be a playoff team for a while. Randy Foye has to come in and be a leader as this team now needs a new identity and style of play.
