I last saw Sunil bat in his last overinnings in internatinal Cricket whjen he was bolwed by Defreitas in the 1987 Reliance Cup semi-fial.It was asad sight seeing the maestro bow down like that-remindind me of Bradman or Sobers.It is 20 years since Sunil Gavaskar retired(1987.He palyed his last Internatinal first class match in August 1987 and his last internatiakl at he WAnkahde stadiyum,his home ground.He I a paying atribute to he maestro.Sunil Gavaskar was born in 1949 in Bombay .His uncle Madhav Mantri was a reputed club cricketer and From his childhood Sunil was baptized into the game.
