2007-11-28 00:00:00 When my daughter and Rebecca were here on Sunday I brought out my baby blanket. My mother made it for me when I was little out of my baby clothes and sundresses. It?s a beautiful pink blanket with quilt like patches of clothing sewn together in the shape of flowers with a lace trim. My initials have always been in one corner and in the late eighties a few pieces of Bethany?s clothes and her initials were added as well. Then a decade later, along came Allison and my mother patched a weak spot in the blanket with some thing of hers and added her initials. Pretty soon Rebecca?s initials will own the forth corner and while I had it out, I found a small tear in the center of the blanket. I am thinking we?ll have to patch it up with a piece of Rebecca?s pretty pink dress.
