2007-05-07 18:09:00 Many consumers don't know who Microsoft's Center for Information Work is but they should because these are the guys at Microsoft that invision what the future of working with information will be. Well the latest from them that they announced at Convergence 2007 is the DigiDesk. Perhaps not the best of names, but this maybe one of the most impressive frontends for a information worker, admins etc. I can only imagine the developers writing software for this custom for each offices design and needs. And wow would i love it! > > The issue though, besides it not being actually available right now for purchase, since MCIS is for "future 5-7 year out" designs, I'd never ever ever be able to work with this thing, i'd be flicking documents, moving and resizin scans all day.
