Tata’s Photon Plus Aims At Going Places – Where Will It Land?
2009-08-11 13:21:00 Tata Indicom’s Photon Plus are aiming big this year with their broadband offerings across the country. Claiming to have currently 40,000 broadband connections so far, Tata aspires to add more 50,000 broadband wireless connections. Tata Teleservices launched CDMA services last november in Assam with an initial investment of Rs. 100 crore and WATBlog was right at it. Tata Teleservices also invested over Rs.100 crore in the Assam circle, establishing a pan-India network with 20 circles to expand their national presence. The Photon Plus service claims to be 20 time faster than the existing wireless data card connections, and approximately 10 times than the availability of average broadband connection speed in the country.The service is said to be offering a speed of 3.1 mbps and many other wireless internet operators have already started to match its speed. Typically, the band heads south from GCC and attends many of the bigger Pittsburgh area festivals and marching shows. On Monday, we headed east to the Allegheny-Clarion Valley school district. It was great to arrive at Allegheny-Clarion High school and see the rural school setting. It?s nestled in a valley between and among the many hills of the area. The same old commute to work/school etc and then coming back home in the evenings, watching T.V in our cramped apartments and then sleeping to wake up to another similar day routine can wear you down and suck out that gumption leaving you drained, irritable and tired all the time. This time, me and a couple of friends of mine are planning to go for a weekend trip to the Bhimashankar Jyoti Linga. This is one of the twelve jyoti lings of Lord Shiva. The reason why this one is special is that it is located at foot of a hill and is surrounded by Mountains on all sides. Moreover the place is heaven during the monsoons.
