2008-02-22 02:48:00 Looks like Alexa is unable to update the graphs and information used in the Alexa site. Only information from the 15th of February remains, so the graph now appears “stuck” to where it was 5 days ago. The problem appears to be because the Movers and Shakers list appears to be stuck at the 12th of February, and rather than letting it remain there, Alexa decided to freeze almost every other thing. At least the Movers and Shakers list now works, though manually updated. (Surprise, surprise! Google is STILL at 4th place…) I guess the delay won’t really hurt Alexa that much. After all, it’s only 5 days traffic right? © 2008 Tevine.

The Problems with Photographs
2006-09-25 03:45:02 Well I should start by saying that their is no problem with Photographs other than the amount of space they take up on your computer. My4 + year old Dell desktop (or is it 5 years?, not sure as time seems to fly)has been struggling for a while and compared to the new computers at work they make my main machine feel like something out of the ark. The machine was bought with 1GB of RAM and a fast processor (at that time) now it feels like a 2CV going up a hill with 3 passengers. Now that does show my age, and most people will not even know what a 2CV is, well it is a fantastic car and you can read about it on wiki. So what has an old computer and a 2CV got in common, well other than I used to drive a 2CV and I now have a slow computer, not much. Both were/are slow. The skill of the photographer must at least be better than me. :pFor me, taking photos is like telling a story. It requires patience to capture the right moments. Each photo shows a captured moment. Many photos tell the whole story. It is not easy. It requires patience and sharpness. Out of 10 shots of the same scene, maybe 1 or 2 will be the better ones.For me, I was asked to take photographs for free for one of my friends' ROM. This is one of the photos I can share with you.
