It’s really bizarre. But because I’ve put in my notice (I’m really regretting the length) I simply don’t have the urge to get things done. Don’t get me wrong - I’m doing the job, and doing it well. I would never screw them over - It’s a mental state I’m talking about. At this point, since my future isn’t invested with my company, I tend to say, “Why?” when I’m doing things. Especially now, in the industry I’m in. I see a lot of excess that’s based on privilege (and perceived privilege) and it annoys me. Don’t worry, I’m not saying anything bad about my company. My department heads are good about trying to keep hired talent’s heads out of the clouds, and grounded into the reality of budget - but precedence demands certain things. The lack of cubicle enthusiasm was palpable as I greeted my coworkers upon arrival this morning (and yes, I am choosing to ignore the fact that it might be because I was in at least 30 minutes after everyone else had arrived). Perhaps there is just something about unlimited grilled meats, pool time, fireworks and family and friend visits that makes it hard to leave for the office. For me, this morning was different. I was actually excited to get into the office. OK, I?ve already over done it. Excitement is too strong a word. Way too strong a word. 2008-05-12 14:35:00 Well it is clearly a Monday here in the great Midwest. It is rainy, cold and my head is throbbing. But I look forward to this week. We are going to get back into a routine. I enjoyed a week at my parents' house, "over the river and through the woods" as we like to call it. I get quite pampered by my mom there and it was nice to share some of the boys' bedtime reading responsibilities with my dad. In fact, I was dreading leaving. We headed home though yesterday after lunch and as we pulled into our driveway I took in a big breath of familiarity. The boys had pulled out their scooters within one-minute of jumping out of the car and were racing back and forth on our sidewalk. The answering machine was checked, the car unloaded (and piled in the kitchen) and I had a load of laundry going within 30 minutes. Yes, it felt good to be home!So this morning the 5 year-old is back at preschool. The 3 year-old is enjoying some morning PBS and the washing machine is STILL running ;)....

I have even showed you my 1 day result after getting back on the grind as well. I think I did pretty well with my 1 week stats, especially getting back to the swing of things. BAH! I also even had issues with a network and they really ticked me off yesterday. But anyways… Here are my stats for one week and promoting 1 campaign. I did not group all the other campaigns together. I want to keep this simple. So you can easily see that I started the week good with a pretty big gap on the weekend. I do not know what happened during the weekend, I got no clicks and very low impressions. You can even see I had close to coming even on my second and third day. This specific campaign was only being published on Google Adwords. So my first day, I simply just picked my campaign and created 4 ads for rotation. This was within 1 ad group and just 1 campaign.
