Why choose to get all weepy and sad when the other option is to fall off your chair laughing? --------------Listen to my SAUL AUSTERLITZ interview!-------------- I think the die was cast for me back in 1978, when Steve Goldin and I saw Animal House the night it opened at a theater in Princeton, NJ. I had seen comedies before, of course, but none that had ever worn me out. We laughed so hard at the antics of the Delta House gang that we went back again the next night. And quite a few more times after that. Saul Austerlitz would probably make the same choice, I?m guessing. He?s the author of a new book, Another Fine Mess: A History of American Film Comedy. It takes the genre from Charlie Chaplin?whose work I myself studied at the University of Florida many years ago ? to Judd Apatow, whose work I now study from the comfortable of my fami...

Even Groucho Marx Would be Happy With Indonesia?s Profit Opportunities
2008-05-30 17:45:00 At times, you can tell a country by the company it keeps. Indonesia just announced it plans to leave the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), the infamous cartel that tries to push our oil prices through the roof. That decision may not seem very significant, but consider it this way: If you were Indonesia, which countries would you rather have as your buddies? Not to mention two…SHARETHIS.addEntry({- title: "Even Groucho Marx Would be Happy With Indonesia?s Profit Opportunities", url: "http://jutiagroup.com/2008/05/-30/even-groucho-marx-would-be-h-appy-with-indonesia%e2%80%99s-p-rofit-opportunities/" });

QUEEN Y GROUCHO MARX
