ArenaNet had set up special events all over the game world, allowing players to participate in various mini-games while the main towns of each continent were covered in fireworks several times a day. All of this started on Friday, a day before the actual anniversary on the 28th of April, and ended on Monday night.Some of the events planned included the re-opening of the boardwalk in Shing Jae Monestary (Factions campaign) which provided access to some games of chance.
