Reasons for Absence of Women Gurus in CR4
2011-11-17 11:04:00
hey all, i have been using this website for almost a year now and one thing i noticed is that the female gender is almost absent in this enlightening forum. There are/were few some months back, but now its all just empty. i even had told my female friends who had Graduated in electrical engineering
Grooming underage boys by homosexuals and Sathya Sai Baba
2011-11-08 23:17:00
Norway ratified a law some years ago against “grooming” for sexual exploitation. Though it is directed at Internet attempts to seduce children, it applies with equal force to actual grooming, such as is known to have been carried out countless times by Sathya Sai Baba when he oiled the pubic areas and genitals of underage ...
Shiva-Shakthi and Sathya Sai Baba?s alleged self-healing in 1963
2011-11-07 22:53:00
Alexandra Nagel has written: “Sri Sathya Sai Baba is the famous Indian guru allegedly born in 1926 in Puttaparthi, a village in South India (now a thriving town) where he still resides in his ashram, Prasanthi Nilayam, ?the Abode of Supreme Peace?. He is visited daily by thousands of devotees from all around the world. ...
Belief and moralism in Sathya Sai Baba?s ?5 human values?
2011-11-06 23:26:00
Surely we should never let our beliefs stop us from doing what is right and good. Religious beliefs are founded on uncertainty – not on knowledge, but on believing – and are therefore no secure or final criterion of what is right or good. Actions motivated by religious beliefs often conflict with knowledge, and religious ...
Barry Pittard posted a vital Sai cult overview
2011-11-01 21:37:00
May I simply recommend for today the latest important summing-up of the Sathya Sai Baba situation by Barry Pittard:- Sathya Sai Baba Cult Now Distraught and Broken, Like Its Founder In Last Years Filed under: Gurus, Sathya Sai Baba Tagged: Barry Pittard, Sathya Sai cult
Sathya Sai Baba Cult Now Distraught and Broken, Like Its Founder In Last Ye
2011-10-31 21:46:00
Former devotee outreach to institutions was enormous, an international effort in which people from many professional, trade backrounds put did their best, first of all to warn of the danger of boys and young men coming into the orbit of Sathya Sai Baba. As the participants compared their experiences, evidence ? sometimes gut-sickening ? fast mounted. Other crimes and ethical betrayals came to our notice. To those coordinating activities, such as Glen Meloy, Hari Sampath, myself and, as time passed, Robert Priddy, the sheer volume and richness of evidence allowed many striking confirmations of the veracity of accounts. Many witnesses clearly had no knowledge of each other. Still further, evidence came in from sources well beyond former devotees. Sai Baba had not only practised his sexual and other abuses on his immediate followers but on others who were spiritual seekers traveling through India from one ashram to another.
Mother Easwaramma?s ghostly visitations to Sathya Sai Baba
2011-10-28 00:11:00
One several occasions Sathya Sai Baba related at length and most bizarrely about visitations by the ghost of his mother, Easwaramma (alt. Eashwaramma). One such is shown in a scan of part of the discourse published in the official Sai Baba journal (see on right): Some time after that, I asked my good friend V.K. ...
Indian swami fully defends Sathya Sai Baba sexual abuse of children!
2011-10-26 20:47:00
What some Sathya Sai Baba followers say to affirm and support child sex abuse as a divine act continues to shock any decent person! On the other hand, most will probably laugh at the reasoning and marvel at the level of perverse-minded delusion and immorality that Indian swamis and other Sai followers who cannot deny ...
Delhi University in row over Ramayana epic
2011-10-25 23:29:00
The BBC reports on a major conflict essentially over whether the Ramayana is correctly represented by Hindus in India, or whether it has been changed and arisen in many different versions:- “ A row has broken out in the Indian capital over whether Delhi university should teach a controversial essay about the Hindu epic, the Ramayana. The ...
More false, impractical advice from Sathya Sai Baba
2011-10-24 23:46:00
Every so often I get comments and e-mails directing me to follow Sai Baba’s advice and speak softly, kindly, obligingly and not use harsh words. Many of these requests are from devotees who at the same time denounce, accuse, vilify, and attack me in very harsh terms, and sometimes denounce others in similar terms! It ...
India?s legal system covering up for many gurus
2011-10-23 21:12:00
Kristina Jure from Lithuania made a thought-provoking comment to yesterday’s posting as follows:- “I just was figuring out what impact on all of those who were present and involved in Baba?s sexual abuse did the cold blood murder episode could have. On their consciousness and subconsciousness? Their feeling of any security vanished then because they ...
Sai Baba on seeking pardon and accepting punishment
2011-10-22 21:27:00
“Actually, one should never seek pardon for the mistake committed. One should be prepared to undergo the punishment. Only then can one be free from defects.” Sanathana Sarathi August 2001 p 229ff Now we can say that Sathya Sai Baba kept his own words insofar as he never sought pardon for mistakes committed. He was ...
Movie on Sathya Sai Baba launched
2011-10-20 22:14:00
A large number of films – sold mostly as videos – have already been made about Sathya Sai Baba – but none have had the success and world-wide audience that the BBC 1-hour documentary achieved. (See here). So his followers intend to try to make a full-length film to promote him as a philanthropist, miracle ...
Sathya Sai Baba?s last days
2011-10-19 15:09:00
A reminder of what was reported about the minders of Sai Baba while he was in “intensive care”, before they secretly took him off life support on Easter Sunday! The matter was never cleared up – the guilty parties remained as silent as the grave and the attempt of Naidu to get the matter brought ...
Sathya Sai Baba believed in Indian astrology
2011-10-18 21:01:00
Sathya Sai Baba was a believer in astrology (of the Hindu variation), as is evident from the scanned quotation here. The only way to protect oneself against the malign influences of the planets and stars, according to his view, was to follow the doctrine he prescribes here. One again, a bundle of sheer superstitious, unscientific ...
Sai Baba excused his many self-contradictions
2011-10-16 22:06:00
In a discourse (excerpt shown here) Sathya Sai Baba was clearly trying to explain away the many self-contradictions that are found throughout his published booklets and his endless public discourses. Unfortunately for him, though, his explanation that each person requires a different ‘teaching’ according to the spiritual circumstances etc. would only sometimes be valid when ...
Sathya Sai Baba: world to be united as Hindus by India!
2011-10-15 21:09:00
MORE RIDICULOUS PREDICTIONS BY THE ‘OMNISCIENT AVATAR’ “Today is Krishna Janmashtami, the birthday of Lord Krishna. I am making a promise today that the people of all the countries, viz. Pakistan, China, Germany, Russia will be united. That should be our goal. The goodness of Bharat will lead to this unity.” (p. 267 – Sathya Sai ...
Most predictions by and about Sai Baba failed
2011-10-14 18:01:00
Only one or two prophecies made by Sathya Sai Baba can be said to have come about… many decades ago he claimed that many people would eventually come to visit him. (On the other hand, many gurus may say that, and now and again one or two are proved right.) Otherwise, his predictions have invariably ...
The Vedas ? Sai Baba vs. N. Chaudhuri
2011-10-13 20:10:00
Sai Baba’s claims for the Vedas are so excessive as to surpass all reason, as one of many quotes shows:- “The Vedhas (sacred ancient scriptures) are the very roots of Bhaaratheeya Culture. So, it is the bounden duty of every son of India to observe the rites and rituals, the injunctions and instructions, laid down ...
The Vedas and Hinduism ? two viewpoints
2011-10-12 23:11:00
Sathya Sai Baba claimed that he was nothing less than  ”the Almighty form of the Vedas” (i.e. ?Vedarupa?) see in his journal Sanathana Sarathi -  July 1974, p. 170. There are two mutually opposed climates of opinion on the Vedas. Firstly, there are those who believe they are mystical sound-based mantras which – when constantly repeated and ...
Hal Honig ? misguided copier of Sai Baba?s practices
2011-10-11 23:43:00
The group shown in the photo were taken in 1993 to see Sai Baba by one of his US devotees, Hal Honig of New York, about whom diverse reports of cover-up of homosexual behaviour have circulated. Speaking of genital oiling by Sathya Sai Baba, one of th whistle-blowers, Glen Meloy, wrote:- “…I first heard of ...
Hari Sampath, former insider on myths by Sathya Sai authorities
2011-10-10 21:42:00
Here I repost a most informative article written years ago by a long-serving security official at Sathya Sai Baba’s ashram. He got an insider view of much that went on due to his position in security, not least though knowing members of the Sathya Sai Central Trust. When the sex abuse allegations agaisnt Sathya Sai ...
Bon Giovanni & Ram Das Awle ? two very disturbed minds
2011-10-09 21:52:00
Ram Das Awle is an outright supporter of perverse sexual abuse, and justifies Sathya Sai Baba’s sexual abuse – in which he believes took place – and if you don’t believe it read his web page (of which the original has been preserved in secure copies in case he tries to delete or change this ...
Warnings against Sathya Sai Baba impostors
2011-10-08 21:06:00
Both in India and around the world there are many who try to claim association with Sathya Sai Baba or his institutions for their own ends, not least  to obtain donations or to gain popularity, status etc.   Interestingly, his warnings that all these claims are bogus were repeated at intervals against ever new claimants in the ...
Hinduism: the Vedas, river worship, fair skin and cows
2011-10-07 22:41:00
In his insightful blog on Sathya Sai Baba’s claim to be the famous ‘Saint of Shirdi’ reincarnated,  Barry Pittard remarks on the highly speculative and not least superstitious culture that makes claims acceptable to so many: “Of all countries, India is the place where (other than in lunatic asylums of which all our countries have ...
Fall-out since the death of Sathya Sai Baba
2011-10-06 20:54:00
The following information was sent to me two days ago from a Russian source:- “A man from Russia went to Puttaparthi about a year ago. He wanted Sathya Sai Baba to bless some symbols and projects connected with a project he was promoting. He desperately needed a place on the veranda to contact Sai Baba to ask ...
Sai Ma ? contenders for the title ?Sai Mother?
2011-10-05 19:21:00
The first contender for the title ‘Sai Ma’ (i.e. “Mother Sai” or also “mother of Sai” was a Mrs. Nareng. Her claims have been definitively rejected by Sathya Sai Baba through his editor, V.K. Narasimhan, in the journal Sanathana Sarathi as can be seen below. An Australian devotee who lived around the Sai Baba ashrams ...
Sathya Sai Baba?s political protégés and VIPs
2011-10-03 21:45:00
While still in the Sathya Sai Organization, we from Oslo were continually forced to notice that Sai Baba attracted not only good, sensible and pure persons, but also many of poor understanding and personal ambition (whether one called it ‘spiritual ambition’ or raw desire for special blessings, privilege and power). The people Sai Baba chose as his ...
Some postings recalling major Sai Baba issues
2011-10-02 14:07:00
Looking back across the 11 years of our conscience-driven work to expose Sathya Sai Baba’s hidden sides and covered-up crimes (which deceived us for so long), the number of daily postings added up to make it rather hard for many visitors to this site to know what to choose. Here are some varied postings that ...
Laughing while dying proves worth, said Sai Baba
2011-10-01 13:02:00
No one has claimed that Sathya Sai Baba laughed on his deathbed, on the contrary… he was unconscious most of the time while on life support and the last reliable (independent)  report was about his “ tearful cry for help to his devotees to save him” on March 28th (according to ex-Minister Nagi Reddy) as his minders ...
Shirdi Sai stated ?I am not God?, while Sathya misrepresented him
2011-09-30 13:03:00
Shirdi Sai uttered ?I am NOT God but a humble servant of God?. Allah Malik. This statement runs totally counter to the claim by Sathya Sai Baba that Sai Baba of Shirdi was an avatar of God, the first in a trio of which Sathya Sai Baba claimed to be the second and most powerful. ...
Sai Baba on judging gurus? genuineness
2011-09-29 21:24:00
“The only test anyone can apply to a guru, of whatever kind, is whether his words are in harmony with his deeds. Gurus are to be judged by how words are put in practice.” (Sathya Sai Baba) Conversations… p. 18 new Sathya Sai Baba repeatedly gave a ‘guarantee’ of liberation from the wheel of life ...
Has the Sathya Sai movement ground to a halt?
2011-09-28 12:26:00
Since Sathya Sai Baba’s death under most suspicious circumstances, the chief medical causes which never having been documented (AIDS?) by any death certificate or due process –  and not least since the dismal failure of one of Sai Baba’s most trumpeted prophesies, that he would live until he was in his 90s – the institutions ...
They?ve Banned the Bulls At Barcelona. By Barry Pittard
2011-09-28 02:42:00
I have been working on this song - words and music - since yesterday. It sprang from seeing the news reports about the banning of bullfighting in Barcelona, Spain. The incident recalled a repeated discovery of prominent figures in confronting the Sathya Sai Organization. Namely, that when you fight a hard cause, you essentially have to fight it pretty well alone. The crowds may cheer or give thumbs down. But one has to focus on the proper work, and not the pro or anti roars of crowds. And of the disappearance of many people from whom one might have wished to see better. Whether one believes in bullfighting or this or that cause or not, the true pain and joy, those great inseparables, is in the deed, and facing it no less than the worthy matador or bull. Those who dare are too few, and would dare regularly if only they knew the sheer satisfaction of making a stand. My supposition is that the prime activists in the fight for animal rights have far more in common with the matadors t...
Barry Pittard: incisive exposure of Sathya Sai Baba and company

Narendra Nayak: award-winning humanist with secular values
2011-09-22 23:33:00
Narendra Nayak works full-time as a propagator of the scientific spirit and an exposer of religious and pseudo-scientific myths, diverse Indian superstition and guru fraud – especially alleged miracles. He is constantly on the move throughout India visiting branches of the Federation of Indian Rationalist Associations, of which he is the National President. Under its ...
Professor Narendra Nayak: leading light of Indian rationalism
2011-09-22 17:02:00
Recently Narendra Nayak visited Oslo to attend the annual Humanists’ International Conference here. To his surprise, he was given the Distinuished Service to Humanism Award for exceptional contributions to the work of IHEU. On that occasion we also met and had valuable and interesting discussions, not least about the massive fraud and deception for which Sathya ...
Sathya Sai Baba and the unpalatable truth
2011-09-21 13:15:00
?Speak truth, speak pleasantly and do not speak unpalatable truth? (Sanathana Sarathi October 2003, p. 296). Almost every statement of any import will be “unpalatable” to someone on the planet, so this extremely vague advice – if religiously followed (as Sai devotees are required to so) would lead to hardly anyone telling anything. Many Sai ...
Sathya Sai Baba Made Huge Science and History Mistakes
2011-09-21 00:49:00
Sathya Sai Baba's 'educated' devotees have a great deal to anwer for. Many of his pronouncements directly contradict basic, long-established, irrefutable facts that their own children learn at school. It is little wonder that many Sai devotees children so seriously question their parents beliefs, and that unbridgeable gaps of discourse subsist between these parents and teachers. This factor does not relate to expected intergenerational differences of perception. It is fundamental to the breakdown that occurs in the case of one cult after another. A young person's spirit AND intelligence - unless these qualities have, themselves, been damaged by the absurd belief system - will both rebel. And for the best of reasons. The late Howard Murphet, Australian journalist and author of best-selling books on Sai Baba, with whom he was close for years, wrote:
Sathya Sai Baba a highly controversial and contentious figure
2011-09-18 19:33:00
Many devotees of Sathya Sai Baba deny that he was a subject of controversy. They are either very ill-informed about the many issues concerning him – as the Sai organization always does all in its power to ensure they are – or else they wilfully deny this against better knowledge, such as on the Sathya ...
Sathya Sai Baba?s Deterioration: Long Mental and Physical Slide Into Chaos
2011-09-18 04:22:00
How many times must a charismatic figure, like a guru, err before people's mesmerization tapers, and, hopefully, ends. Before, that is, they begin to see the trail of anomaly, broken promises, and betrayed hopes? Commonly, infantile belief systems - however they may be dressed up to look all grown up - intrudes. Devotees are lost in adulating their idealized father or mother figure. They rationalize away absurdities and often downright lies. They feel comforted by the cultic group that feeds and shelters their sense of belonging. In the case of figures like Sai Baba, they think that the guru holds the power over their chances for heaven or hell. Sathya Sai Baba's minders did all that they could to hide the dreadful physical and mental wreck that he became in his last years. But it cannot be upheld that thousands of devotees from around the world did not see at least some of the signs. Certainly, the many doctors attending darshan or his interviews could not other than have noti...
Sathya Sai Baba down the rabbit hole
2011-09-17 22:35:00
AND THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS Sathya Sai Baba promoted a veritable inverted Wonderland which he said could only be entered by those blessed by God (i.e. himself, the Incarnate Creator of the Universe, so he says). The spiritual wonderland of Sathya Sai he speaks of as ?liberation from the wheel of existences’ (or ?’moksha?). Any ...
Bon Giovanni refuted firmly by Afshin ?Said? Khorramshahgol
2011-09-16 15:44:00
Though this mail is not recent, it explains very well many of the misconceptions about Sathya Sai Baba and his sexual abuses of boys and young men and illustrates the psychological mechanism of intense denial, as witnessed in the confused and deluded ideas of Bon Giovanni, who presents himself as a ‘Sai Critic’ so as ...
Sathya Sai Baba fundamental(ist) confusion about goodness
2011-09-15 21:15:00
“According to Moore, the mistake of thinking that goodness is some natural property of things, such as their capacity to produce pleasure.” The Cambridge Encyclopedia Sathya Sai Baba commits this fallacy of confusing ‘is’ and ‘ought’ or facts and values time and again. This is a throwback to the less sophisticated attitude in religiously-dominated society where ...
Dematerialization by Sathya Sai Baba?
2011-09-14 13:12:00
To the left is an excerpt from a once-popular biographical book about Sathya Sai Baba. The story reported there itself was unsourced and undocumented, the date was not given and the ‘songstress’ remains unnamed (as is usually the case with these miracle reports). Various lady singers have performed for Sathya Sai Baba, including the famous ...
General M.L. Chibber on leadership (Sai Baba?s ?mahavakyas?)
2011-09-13 15:46:00
In his book Sai Baba’s Mahavakya- on Leadership, Education in Human Values (M&M International Publishers, New Delhi, 1994) the ex-Indian army officer, Lieutenant- General M.L. Chibber, who resided in Prashanthi Nilayam as a close devotee of Sathya Sai Baba, wrote some of the most backward-looking, uninformed and incompetent views on matters relating to leadership. His model, Sathya Sai Baba’s diverse ideas, ...
Faith turns night into day, black into white
2011-09-10 21:51:00
“For them. life begins with death” “Which is as if one were to say ”Day begins with night.’”  (from Quo Vadis) The belief that death can be defeated, that there is a life afterwards, that one may be reborn and all those fondest of imaginings, plays some part in all religions. Such unsupported beliefs are ...
9/11 Twin Towers attack and Sathya Sai Baba?s claimed intervention!
2011-09-08 23:08:00
The official Sathya Sai Organization International Chairman Dr. Goldstein affronts the 9/11 victims’ memory by claiming that Sathya Sai Baba intervened to save his members’ lives (but not those of others)! In a live TV programme on Zona de Investigacion (Azul TV, Argentina), Dr. Michael Goldstein is reported on by the Argentinian journalist and TV ...
Sai Baba?s Distance and Unapproachability ? a reminder
2011-09-08 22:01:00
During all his life, Sathya Sai Baba’s behaviour at darshan set up considerable hurdles to the understanding and did not exactly make for a feeling of overflowing divine acceptance and love. Rather, Sai Baba seemed to aim to confuse and bamboozle people as much as possible? it helped to sustain the belief in his “inscrutability” ...
