2007-11-26 22:34:00 I've been playing Team Fortress 2 for a few weeks now and I'm loving it. It might be the most fun multiplayer game I'm playing right now. For those of you not familiar with Team Fortress 2 it is a multiplayer only first person shooter. You can play as any of the 9 classes. Each class has its own weapons and abilities, but they all are really well balanced. For example, the big guy with the chain gun moves really slowly, but the little guy with the shotgun runs really fast. The best part of Team Fortress 2 is that the maps are designed specifically for certain game types. It makes them a lot more fun. You're not going to run into lame game types like you can have in Halo 3 (4 person slayer on Sandtrap I'm looking at you). The game gives you a good amount of stats at the end of each match including how many kills, how much healing, etc. The other great thing Team Fortress 2 does is that it alerts you in game when you've been killed by a person 4 times in a row, or if ...

2007-10-22 04:56:00 Yes, I know this isn't a very new game, but it did come with the Orange box, and I hadn't played it yet. I'll start out my review by saying that this is a very good, classic Half-Life style horror-shooter. I've played maybe 2/3 or 3/4 of the way through the game, and it is GOOD. It will keep you on the edge of your seat. When you start out, you are talking to Alyx (your partner, same as in Half-Life 2). She gives you only a gravity gun, but then supes it up. With this blue gravity gun you can pretty much pick up anything. So killing the combine (bad guys) will be a cinch. Throughout the game you run into many mini-puzzles that require you to think outside the box, and use your gravity gun to do so. There is a lot of fast paced action, as well as a little slow parts that have story dialog. Overall a really great game. If you played Half-Life 2 you must get this. It continues the story, and is of course, another Half-Life masterpiece from those at Valve. If you haven't played HL2...
