Groups are going out into the world of video games and preaching the gospel and the story of Jesus. One article I just finished reading is here. Churches buy the games and even bring the games into the Church to attempt to reach youth. I was reading another article were the Churches support people heading into the world of Azeroth in the game World of Warcraft to attempt to convert people towards Christianity. They had created a guild called "convert or die" and they spend most of their time messaging people in game about God. The Church of these people supported this so much, they bought 300 copies of this game to outreach people.Now I am all for Jesus, our Lord and Savior. For the PC users out there, you’re trying to cope with Windows Vista because it is a requirement, so this is probably new stuff. So Shazly, shut up. I’m into Halo 2 Vista right now, and… yeah, it’s pretty good stuff… uh… you know… good stuff… cos everyone played it… so it must be good… stuff. Eh. I spent almost 2 hours figuring out to even get my torrented Halo 2 to run. It’s a 2GB+ archived file, which explodes into 4GB+ upon decompression, taking a rather long while. The game kept crashing originally, so I went to decompressed it over and over again to make sure it was nothing to do with it. But the game still crashes. It got the rating because of "partial nudity" supposedly, and no it turns out that it isn't the uber sexy Cortana. After the M (Mature 17+) rating assignment was issued for Halo 2 for Vista and just prior to the shipment of the game to retail, Microsoft notified ESRB about pertinent content found in a map editor tool that is being bundled with the game. First, while graphics are an essential part of a game they are not the primary factor in what makes a game fun. Despite the fact the game is a few years old now and the graphics are not as nice as newer games like Gears of War or Rainbow Six Vegas I had a lot of fun playing through the story again with one of my co-workers. Second, Legendary is long when the person you are playing with dies a lot.The gameplay stands up to these current releases because it is well designed and balanced. There are a lot of ways to make a game fun. Halo 2 does it by giving the player a combination of enemy strength and intelligence to deal with. The strongest enemies are not the smartest, but they make up for that being only vulnerable on a few spots. On the other side, the smartest enemies are vulnerable to attack everywhere .
