Too sore to tell you how I sang the chorus of a French song (that I don't know the name of but which happens to have Sweetie's name in it) to her while she was in-utero. I'm too sore to mention that that song continued to be the only song to soothe her in her infancy, or to say how elated Sweetie was as a toddler when we introduced her to the real version of said song on a CD we were given. The music was fun and enjoyable, and had one of the best dance choreography I have ever seen in an animated movie yet. The animation isn’t like the other movies this year - there was a lot of attention to landscape, facial and perspective detail. The view of the animated movie was not from a natural observers point of view but from a different angle. Robin Williams, Elijah Wood, Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman and others did a good job to match their various characters. The movie does give a perfect message to everyone — being different is not necessary a bad thing and that everyone has his or her own special talent. Kudos to the producers and it certainly warrants being number one on the US box office movie charts. So the 6th installment of Rocky came out today. Our favorite line in the movie is when Mumble (the main character) tries to sing to his five amigos. One says “I heard an animal do that once, but I turned him over and he was dead.” We both started cracking up. We were there with her nanny. So the movie was about Mumble a penguin who instead of singing stomped. The reason he was singled out was because all the other penguins sang to each other to find a mate. Soon there became a shortage of fish. So Mumble set out to see what was the reason the fish were disappearing. He finally found out that the aliens (humans) were stealing them. He then found himself in a zoo. His stomping got the attention of everyone and they sent him back to the arctic to see if the other penguins did it too. Happy feet agreed to do a quick photo shoot for us (photo to the right). really nice guy. The big screen ads about 5 feet, turns out he's only about 16 inches tall.during our week we also got within 10 feet of a right whale and her new born baby, saw wild ostriches, lama's, lizards, sea lions, elephant seals and something that looked like a mix between a dog with horns and a naked rabbit.All and all a fantastic experience. 2006-11-20 23:18:03 I don’t care how old you are, you have to see this movie. The CG was really well done. It wasn’t cartoony. I was impressed beyond words. If I have a hard time guessing if it’s real or CG, it’s good. I think we’re officially passed the days where you are left wondering if that ice flow was captured on film or run through Photoshop After Effects (with the exceptions of such tragically bad CG cartoons as Doogal and Hoodwinked.) While I’m not one for casting screen stars over voice actors just so your marquee can have some $20 million power, I really thought this cast did very well. For this kind of movie you have to find some people with pipes and I thought Kidman and Murphy did fantastic jobs. Elijah Wood was almost painfully Elijah Wood, there’s really no mistaking him anymore. Hugo Weaving puts on a nice brogue which disguised his identity well and Hugh Jackman played a passable Elvis type character named “Memphis,” again...

These delightful ladies have suggested I could join them in the procreative fun--they don't want me to feel left out come spring--so I reassured them that I would be just fine. No really. Me and my mister are done with making babies. I'll just admire theirs.As we settled down for our bible study, I thought the room seemed cold . Then I felt a slight breeze coming through the window, because IT WAS OPEN. It occurred to me that I was surrounded by prego mamas, warmed by an increased blood flow and girly hormones. I have Raynaud's, like my Mom before me. My circulation doesn't work correctly, so when I get cold or chilled, the blood essentially stops flowing to my feet and hands.
