2012-01-01 17:00:00 This morning I'm on my second cup... but alas, I can have no more as the husband is 'off' from work today and he will want a cup - but there is only one Keurig k-cup left. Well, of regular. We have decaf so I can always have that in a pinch, but that sort of defeats the purpose, right?Last night I did not surprise myself when I slept through the new year. I'm happy to celebrate that way. Don't tell me it's because I'm getting old, because even as a teenager and into my 20's I was most happy to celebrate that way! But for those kind enough to wonder where I've taken off to I thought I'd at least let you know we're alive and well and looking forward to another year but I'm afraid life has given me other things to do instead of blogging. Here's a picture of our last camping trip at the end of the summer at Quartz Creek where we had a great time and the kids kayaked and rode horses till they nearly dropped from exhaustion. Andrew, Spencer and Grace ran the zombie half-marathon at Halloween and now she's waiting nervously for her college application to BYU to got through. We're all pulling for her and think she's definitely going to get in but it's up in the air till we have that letter in hand, right? How many remember the floods in June this year in North Dakota? Did you know that more than 1,000 airmen and their families from Minot Air Force Base were displaced and had their homes wrecked by the flooding?
