I have been fascinated with panoramic photos for a while, but have never shot one. The plan is to shoot 'regular' ones like this but also to try some 360 degree interactive panoramas, when I get hold of a panoramic tripod head. However, this was shot handheld from the top of a sand dune and stitched using Autopano. It is comprised of 10 shots, all portrait. There is a little distortion going on, but, overall, not a bad test.The trouble with posting shots mainly at 900px wide inevitably means this panoramic looks a bit small, so, to see it larger, click HERE.
