2008-06-03 19:02:00 Fruto de la colaboración de la American Suzuki Motor Corporation, del Lifted Research Group y la revista americana 2Wheel Tuner se ha presentado en el Cycle World International Motorcycle Show celebrado en el Long Beach Convention Center de California. Diseñado por el constructor Nick Anglada de CSC, la L-R-G Hayabusa es el medio que la marca convertirá como icono para acercarse a la cultura urbana.El aspecto exterior de la Hayabusa ha sido modificada para llamar la atención tanto a los aficionados a las motocicletas como -y sobretodo- a los fashion adictos. El reclamo es una pintura blanca perlada (Pearl White Powder), con detalles en verde, y con algunas poartes en metraquilato que dejan ver el motor y el trabajo del chasis. 2007-12-08 02:39:00 Ooohhh, this new motorcycle from Suzuki looks SWEET! Suzuki partnered with Lifted Research Group aka. L-R-G to bring the fully customized 2008 Hayabusa sportbike. The 2008 Hayabusa sportbike will be on display at Suzuki's booth at the Cycle World International Motorcylce Show until December 9 2007. The L-R-G Hayabusa has a unique Pearl White Powder paint scheme accented by GatorCustoms-crafted lighted and see-through panels so you can see the customengine and chassis work of the sportbike. The L-R-G Hayabusa also features a number of striking L-R-G-branded accents, including a custom windscreen with L-R-G pattern by Sportech, stator cover with CNC engraved L-R-G logo and engraved Voodoo exhaust. Actually, it's universally accepted that the Hayabusa armor will be unlocked once the player has found all 13 skulls, but that's where the problem lies.There is one elusive skull named "I Would Have Been Your Daddy" that nobody has found yet (Bungie brags that it's the hardest to find) and is supposedly the last key to unlocking the Hayabusa armor. The bike's engine grows from 1299cc to 1340cc for '08, and a commensurate power jump is expected to let the new 'Busa equal or surpass the numbers put up by Kawasaki's hyper-performance machine, the Ninja ZX-14. 2007-07-04 12:56:00 Everyone knew this was coming. Suzuki’s reign as the king of the so-called Ultimate Sport class was threatened last year with the release of Kawasaki’s omnipotent ZX-14. As you can see in our comparison of the two monster sportbikes, the Kawi brought a bit more to the table than the largely unchanged 2007 ‘Busa. Well that didn’t sit well with Suzuki. The compression ratio inside the 1340cc motor has risen from 11.5:1 to 12.5:1. The 41cc increase in displacement stems from a 2mm increase in stroke giving each tube of the Inline-Four a final spec of 81mm x 65mm (bore/stroke). Inside resides new three-ring, aluminum alloy forged slipper pistons. Claimed to be lighter and stronger, the new shape of the piston crown is responsible for the boosted compression. The motor also gets a new set of titanium valves for intake and exhaust. The sizes haven’t changed, but the alternative metal allows for weight savings.
