This is an interschool contest involving teachers, students, and graduates of different school in the province. I did participate the said contest but I am so busy right now that I only made posts on the said entries, once every week. I don't know if the people participating to this competition can still cope up with the demand of this event. There's a lot of obstacles and changes happens this 2009 and some are really having a hard time adopting to this. Including me! Giving just a short update,have finally settled almost perfectly in singapore. Created my own bank account, got my billing cell number, access to the national library(which is damn huge) and other miscellaneous stuff.Still have living accommodation crisis, but am looking into it soon...hostel life is fun, but not for me...if I am to live in a hostel, it has to be a private room. I have lectures more or less every day (it's like I get one weekday off every three or four weeks ... something like that), and for Hebrew there are lots of preparations for each lecture - we have to prepare sentences to read and translate and analyze the grammar - and then of course, LEARN all the grammar as well (lot of things to learn and know by heart). I do have taken this course before, but I'm quickly realizing I still need to put a lot of time and effort into it, in order to really learn it, and that was after all the general idea!My other course, Old Testeament Bible Studies, are also quite intense. A lot of literature to go through, and some seminars and papers to do as well. I'm not sure quite how well I'm doing there, as there are no "check-ups" (as we get in Hebrew), but I'm really trying hard not to fall too much behind on that either ... the first exam (of Old Testament, then we're moving on to the New Te...

I try all sorts of different recipes but nothing has really done it for me...that is until now. I made a Sweet Potato & Apple bake that was really, really good! I really have no idea where I got the original recipe from but it has been in my recipe box for years and years. I went hunting for a Thanksgiving recipe and there it was. I did change it around quite a bit so I am not sure that the old recipe even applies but it did give me the inspiration to come up with apples and sweet potatoes together!The dish went very quickly so the teachers didn't even get to take anything home with them!
