Middelbare scholieren zijn voor die wedstrijd uitgedaagd zelf een script te bedenken voor een film. De vijf beste scripts zijn inmiddels door een professionele ploeg verfilmd. Eén daarvan is de film van het Bonhoeffer College. Vanavond wordt tijdens een gala bekend gemaakt welke film de Highschool Movie Awards wint. Jaison Biagini, who taught art for 14 years in Monessen, near Pittsburgh, entered a Sirius satellite radio contest on the 'Bubba the Love Sponge' show because it would win him with a free weekend in Tampa. Biagini said he was interested in visiting the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg. The teacher won, and took off for Tampa, where he met porn star Akira. But, Biagini, who uses a wheelchair, said he felt the sponsors had made fun of his disability. To make matters worse, the school also asked him to step down after the stunt. School board officials say that despite his artistic intentions, Biagini knew what "he was getting into when he entered the contest."
