At a lunch meeting today, the featured speaker was Howard Feldman, a local builder representing the areas Home Builders Associations' "Green Committee". He educated many of us on just what makes a home green and what we can do to help make existing homes greener. There are several homes on HHI that are certified "Green Homes" and it is interesting just how energy efficient they are. Of course, there is also the HGTV in the Traditions development in Jasper County, right next door. Hilton Head Island is one of natures most beautiful creations.
