But they got it done. IND - I can't fault them for losing to NE. Plus, who else would be #3? PIT - Dominating performance against division rival BAL. DAL - Game 1 of the long term deal for Romo, another win. GB - They just keep getting it done and getting it done late. NYG - They've been coming on strong. They have a chance to avenge a week 1 loss to DAL. Big game for the NFC East. TEN - Vince looked healthy again. Good news for Nashville. DET - 4 more wins and there will be a line for people to kiss Kitna's arse. GB NYG - They keep winning and winning handedly. PIT TEN - A win without Vince. JAX - Ran into the wrong team at the wrong time. your WASHINGTON Redskins - They almost got beat by the one armed man. Almost. TB CAR KC - They are sneaky good. They play defense and are starting to remember how to run the ball. And, as always, they play to win the game. Hello? DET - Kitna's on his way to keeping his word. BAL - Every time I say they're good, they go and do something stupid... like lose to BUF. SD CLE SEA DEN - Turning the corner or benefitting from PIT scoring too soon? We shall see. HOU - Hey SP, your Sage rookie card is getting more valuable by the minute. CHI - Great win at the end. Moving on to the rankings: NE IND PIT DAL - I'm still not convinced the D will be there, but for now... GB - Ugly game. But 5-1 is 5-1. JAX - They keep winning. Gerrard has 0 INTs. NYG - This is not the team that went 0-2. BAL TB - See number 10. CAR - See number 9. your WASHINGTON Redskins - Can anyone figure them out? I heard SP's starting at G this week. TEN - The Madden curse caught up to VY. No Vince, no hope. HOU - They need some people to start getting healthy and fast. SD - I'm not 100% sold on them... but man they looked good. Terry, before you say anything, your Cowboys will have a chance to change things this weekend at home against the Pats. Without further ado: NE - The best. Period. IND - Even without important starters (Sanders, Addai) they rolled a reeling TB team. DAL - I was waiting for Denny Green to come out for Jauron: "They are who we thought they are. And we let them off the hook!" One loss teams: PIT - By far the best one loss team. Except for a hiccup against their former coaching staff, this team has dominated. Some unbeaten teams fell (PIT) and some winless teams got on the board in the win column (ATL) showing just how impossible it is to predict how teams will fare in the parity that is the NFL regular season. Here we go: NE - Best team right now. Starting RB (and my 1st pick in the HHFL) Maroney sat out and the Pats still rushed for 174 yards and 5.1 yards per carry. IND - Good, just not NE good right now. Beat a very good DEN team handedly. DAL - They keep beating the teams they need to beat, and beating them down. Best team in the NFC right now.
