A generally hard-pressed opponent states that they have felt the Holy Spirit throughout their life and so changing their minds is simply impossible. This is immediately a suspect claim because anyone who comes into a debate with the idea that it is impossible to have their minds changed is not being intellectually honest. I find it somewhat cowardly to expect an opposing view to have an open mind to one’s own argument, while at the same time being unwilling to extend the courtesy themselves; but I digress.
