A missing horse statue that was stolen from the front of the Tampa Museum of Art in 1998."a woman who lives in the home gave Baxter a few stories about how the sculpture came to be in her yard, eventually saying an ex-boyfriend had bought it at a yard sale for $25 in 1998"They don't give the address, except to say East Clifton, which could be or might not be in Seminole Heights, but I wondered if I had seen the horse when we drove around Seminole Heights, nothing certain, just an the odd feeling that maybe I had. Perhaps I mixed it up with the other horses around.Tampa owns other horse sculptures by Oleson, on Bayshore Boulevard.I remember when Oleson was alive he had a whole herd of sculpture horses pastured in his front yard on Gunn Highway in Odessa, just before the Flea Market. I always enjoyed driving by them.

Every month or so, a client comes to me in a panic with a "brilliant" idea for avoiding some short term problem. Examples abound: 1. One company with revenues of about $200 million a year was being sued for around $2 million by a hated competitor.  Excellent temperment. Has been shown in Halter, showmanship, English Pleasure, Western Pleasure and Horsemanship classes. Lots of experience and smooth gaits. Has a 10 jog and lope and extends his trot well for english. Moves off of legs pressure, and will lower his head from leg pressure. Does flying lead changes. Consistently places very high in Open and 4H Shows. Trainers have said that he needs to go to the breed shows, but we havent had the time to show him there. Good Home a Must!!

 Diesel is 4 years old and registered with AQHA. He stands about 15hh. He was started last summer and is doing great. Walk, trot, lope is excellent and has a very good WHOA as well as backup. He side passes and does rollbacks. Diesel is very light on the bit and responsive to leg ques. He has been ridden extensively in an indoor arena, has been ridden on roads, and lots of trails. He crosses water and goes through thick bush with little or no hesitation. Diesel is always easy to catch, loads in a trailer without a fuss, and is an angel for the farrier. SPIRIT is a very loud tri-color overo gelding with black eye liner around both eyes. He has 90 days of indoor professional training on him. He had 60 days last summer and 30 this past spring. He has a slow pitter patter jog, but his lope will need finishing. He is content to walk and jog. He needs more time with an experienced rider on trails. He's doing okay, but can still be a little unsure about things at times. I do not have the time to put into him right now because I'm working with my 2 year old and taking my daughter to shows. Spirit is easy to handle. He has a very loving personality but is recommended for the experienced rider and handler, as he is still a young horse. For 4-H I'd only recommend him to an older, experienced rider. He could excel in any direction you'd like to go. He's VERY smart minded. Stands for the vet and farrier. Loads easily.  Romeo is a gorgeous mover who shows great talent for FEI. His powerful gaits and presence make him appear much bigger (rider is 5' 7). At his first show he got a 72.8 in T3, will be shown 1st level soon, but is pretty solidly schooling 2nd level and piaffe in hand. Video doesn't do him justice he draws attention everywhere he goes. He gets off the trailer and acts right at home, is the sweetest horse in the barn, is never spooky, has great feet, and is totally sound/healthy. He is in training until sold and price will increase with training. He was correctly started and will make an FEI horse for the right person.
