2008-02-05 10:00:00 Download- IdiocracyThis movie really worked for me on a number of levels. This is the best commentary on the Wal- Mart/ Starbucks/ MTV nation you could hope for. The very fact that a film is exploring the idea that dumb people are breeding at an alarming rate while the intelligent people are not, is great in my book. Not very politically correct but worth at least some debate. It is very funny though. It is a mess, but very funny at the same time.Favorite part: Private Joe Bauers: I just need you to tell me how to get to the time machine.Frito : Oh, that's easy. You go down by the museum and stuff... It's like- it's, like, by the museum... Sorta by... Actually, not really. More like on the street, you go, um... Wait, let me start over. 2007-09-21 23:12:00 I have previously stated that Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam is the worst movie ever and despite a peculiar comment in what appears to be Greek from my translating adventure, I stand by this. I had been told by close friends that Turkish Star Wars was not the worst movie ever made, but that Idiocracy was.Having waited patiently for my local Video King to get Idiocracy back in stock, I finally decided to just get it with my Netflix free trial. My working theory was that the last person to rent Idiocracy had killed themselves, making it impossible to return the movie to Video King.Having sat down and watched Idiocracy, I wonder how I ever though Mike Judge, the man behind Beavis & Butthead, King of the Hill, and Office Space, could ever produce the worst movie ever made. My friends opinions quickly lost any relevance to my view of this futuristic comedy. 2007-02-17 08:51:01 Ever watch Springer just to feel a little better about yourself? Ever wonder, how the hell people can be so stupid? Find yourself obsessing over Anna Nicole? Ever consider mass sterilization to control the population? Ok - maybe mass sterilization is a little radical, but after watching “Idiocracy” I’m even more for it! How can a population become so stupid? It’s frighteningly easy. Take a hard-working, smart married couple. They wait to have kids until “the time is right” or “their careers have peaked” or just end up waiting forever. Take a (pardon the term) trailer-trash, alcoholic, unemployed man who can somehow woo all the women. He ends up with a dozen or so illegitimate kids.
