Em breve, pode tornar-se o standard por que todos os internautas esperavam.O DomainKeys tem em vista a constituição de um standard que permite eliminar o envio de e-mail não solicitado (spam), bem como de mensagens típicas de phishers e piratas que pretendem obter dados confidenciais dos internautas. O standard tem sido trabalhado por Cisco, Yahoo!, Sendmail e PGP Corporation.
