Obtuvo 3.2 millones de dólares de las recaudaciones totales en su primer fin de semana de estreno. Mi gran duda es: ¿Fue público que realmente quiso ver I Am Legend? O en realidad ¿la gente fue al cine para ver los 6 primeros minutos de The Dark Knight que se proyectan antes de la película? Batman Begins en su primer fin de semana obtuvo 46 millones de dólares (no fue un gran estreno). Gran parte de ello fue producto de la pésima reputación que le dejó Batman & Robin (1997), en donde el público terminó dándole la espalda al hombre murciélago. ¿Cómo será la recaudación de la nueva Batman?
